In that case, welcome to Krathal! My name is Freia Shinbrook! I work as a naturalist for a living, specifically a surveyor for the natural resources body in my region!

Krathal is a large and rich world filled with wonderful folk, great history, and natural beauty! No matter how many times I've roughed it out in an area I always find something new to discover, and I've been kicking for a good few decades now! And I hope in your time here you feel the same sense of excitement and joy of discovery that I do!

The people who are native to this world are called "arpines", although you were probably already aware of that! Some people may find our presence intimidating, or our traditions and habits off or weird, but I assure you we arpines are mostly a friendly and curious folk! As long as you respect us, our world, and traditions that is.

The world of Krathal is a worldbuilding and original species passion project by furry artist, FunnelVortex (aka Stormcupine) that has been ongoing since 2015.

The arpines are a race of humanoid carnivores home to the world of Krathal. They appear to have the traits of wolves, hyenas, felines, porcupines, and other various creatures. Although, due to not being from Earth, they are not biologically related to any, and possess their own traits as well. Arpines love nature, which makes up the core of their culture, and they use their society and technology to live in tune with the cycles of their world.

Krathal is an earthlike world located within the Sagittarius Arm. It's a lush and green world covered in mountains, plains, forests, oceans, lakes, and a few deserts. The history of Krathal is rich with many characters and stories that have left their mark, meanwhile Krathal's future leaves many characters waiting to reveal themselves and stories waiting to be told.
